Sustonable is an innovative circular building material used to produce countertops, tabletops and wall panels for bathrooms.

Sustonable surfaces have the appearance of stone yet are more cost-effective to produce.

Besides that, 50% less natural resources are employed to produce the material, becoming much lighter, more flexible and more robust than any other existing building materials.

Additionally, Sustonable is a very versatile product as it presents endless design opportunities. Sustonable employs Recycled PET (plastic bottles made from polyethylene terephthalate) as a binding agent, a synthetic fibre that is highly fitting for recycling. Thanks to this thermoplastic material, it is 100% recyclable, which supports the emerging Circular Economy. Actually, Sustonable is setting up a system to re-use its fabrication and post-consumer waste material. Available funding will be used to accelerate the research and innovation on Sustonable’s products, improve the materials further and optimise the process – enabling Sustonable to provide a better and greener product!
